Your inner experience directly affects how you communicate who you are through your appearance, presence, and actions. The quality of your thoughts determines your perspective, motivations, and courage to step out of your comfort zone. While you may experience a confidence boost from an improved appearance or positive shift in your presence with better posture and body language, you will not be able to maintain these influences if your mindset is not aligned. As a Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and Certified Life Coach, Abigail Cole Hardin uses her training and techniques to identify mental roadblocks and transform her clients’ inner experience to make better external decisions. She is skilled at asking questions that provoke a deeper sense of self-awareness and intentionality to help her clients discover false beliefs that keep them stuck and misrepresenting who they truly are. She draws connections how the client’s appearance and presence stems from a mindset roadblock, but helps the client face the roadblock in a positive and empowering way. Thus, Hardin helps her clients integrate an improved mindset in their M.A.P. process, so they can be in harmony from the inside out.

What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)?

According to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, each thought has an attached image, sound, and feeling that creates the experience of the thought. For example, if you feel the “weight of the world” you may see a huge block placed on your shoulders, then hear a broken-record dialogue playing, “You can’t lift this.” You constantly carry the tension in your shoulders and feel depleted and overwhelmed by life. By recognizing this experience, your NLP Practitioner will guide you how to adapt your internal experience to change “the weight of the world” into a more bearable experience to be able to address. Usually, clients with this adapted guidance will immediately experience a positive and empowering shift which will release tension in their body and mind.
